| Excellent, fast-spreading groundcover. Dark green to mottled burgundy leaves, 2-4 in. long, forming a rosette clump. Quickly forms a dense, lusterous mat, bearing 3- to 4-inch spikes of blueish-purple flowers from spring to early summer. Able to withstand damp, shaded soil. Foliage holds color best in full sun. Nice contrast with hostas, pachysandra and ferns. | ||
