Excellent groundcover, in the rock garden, or as a border plant. Star-shaped, white blossoms highlight silvery gray-green foliage in late spring and summer. Good drainage is a necessity and this European native even grows in pure sand. Likes full sun. Spreads by underground runners and is easily divided in the spring. Cut back after flowering to encourage bushiness.
